Kareena was born Sindhi-speaking Babita (nee Shivdasani) and Punjabi-speaking Randhir Kapoor 21: e September 1977 in Mumbai, India. My older sister, Karisma.She was born in the family, as they have been for generations, including her paternal great-grandfather, Prithviraj Kapoor, her grandfather, Raj Kapoor, her paternal uncles, Sham, Shashi, Rishi and Rajiv, and aunt, Neetu Singh, & Jennifer Kendall, wives Rishi and Shashi respectively. On his maternal side, her grandfather, Hari Shivdasani, and aunt, Sadhana, were actors in their own rights.As a child she studied at Jamnabai Narsee School in juhu, Bombay, and then adopted in Boarding School Dehra Dun's prestigious Welham Girls'. Then he moved to Harvard for approximately 3 months to exchange information technology and microcomputers. After his return to India, joined the government in the Law College, Churchgate, Bombay, but left after a year to enroll in the Kishore Kapoor acting school Objects.Her dad, Randhir is very protective towards his daughters and wanted both the acting, get married and settle down by the Kapoor family tradition. This led to irreconcilable differences between the parents, ultimately leading to divorce, with both sisters leaving their dad to live with their mother.
