Hansika Pradeep Motwani was born on 9th August 1991 to Pradeep Motwani, a businessman and Mona Motwani, a dermatologist.
She has completed 12th Grade from Podar International School. She is fluent in English, Hindi, and Telugu.

She has appeared in ads like Hyundai Santro with Shah Rukh Khan on actress Juhi Chawla’s recommendation, as well as Samsung, Bournvita and Pepsi.
Vaishali, a sanyasin was Hansika’s first lead role in the Telugu movie Desamuduru. She won the Best Female Debut Award – Telugu. She went on to star in Aap Ka Suroor, a muck talked about movie that saw the debut of singer Himesh Reshammiya. Hansika’s first release was a Kannada movie Bindaas opposite Puneet Rajkumar.
